Yesterday I had the pleasure to be invited to a private viewing in Vienna. Ina Forstinger and Gerald Berghammer from silverfineart presented photographs taken in Ireland. They were all black and white beauties opening a new world to us. Mirjam Weichselbraun took over the moderation and I have to admit, I was a bit starstruck. Ina explained that all her photographs were taken in an old-fashioned analog way, which is a long process where you only see the result after your arrival home – not the luxury we know of digital photography where it does click click click and we can have a look and improve our settings. We also enjoyed a vibrant Irish dance performance – wow, their feet were quick I can tell you!
Enjoy the pictures to get an idea of the event. The exhibition can be viewed at ehem. Adi Mayer Filmstudios, Lindengasse 65, 1070 Vienna for two more weeks and will then move to Cimmic Galerie. You can buy all the photographs and I have to tell you – they impressed me with their story-telling ability. If you feel like trying your skills in Irish dance join the group at the Irish Dance Center Vienna.
