When all the others slept in and got presents from Saint Nicholas, three bloggers spent two days learning about how to film a fashion movie with a mobile phone, how to make it look like a high-end production through slow-mo, how to choose the music and how to cut the movie in Adobe premiere. For me – that was my present! I love learning, I love creating something and sharing it with you. I also enjoy meeting new creatives and bloggers while growing through their experience.
Last year I founded Blog Up Official and by now I have organised four events. Planing those and involving creatives and bloggers is what I enjoy the most. Those emerging projects and results therefore is the reason I am investing my free time in them!
Cutting back to our Film event…
With the help of Francis Rafal who is a movie producer with his own company based in Vienna, Janin Figuli-Matyus, a pro in putting make up on you and doing your hair (and really fast too) and finally, the bloggers being Marjorie from Vienna Fashion Waltz, Denise from dpcouture and me started on this two-day journey with a mission – to each create our own fashion movie and at the same time be in front and behind the camera – all first-timers, I may add.
Big thanks to Sarah, who loves cooking and kept our bellies full and to Nicole the girl behind MILK, who lend me her beautiful dress, that I was fortunate enough to wear during the filming process. Also a big hug for Paulina & Thomas for their great backstage photography!
I enjoyed every minute of this experience, even the being-in-front-of-the-camera part, that I am so not used to. With no further delay – see my final product “MOVING FASHION – the black and white edition” (find it at the top of this post).
Finally, with my first fashion movie and many new adventures to come, Happy New Year 2016! This may not be a typical look-back-at-2015-post but I hope you enjoy it.
